This causes the terminology to grow due to increasing specialization and that business interaction with the surrounding environment and society is constantly expanding. Accordingly, this dictionary defines terms and concepts related to the process of transporting, planning, storing, trading, and controlling the flow of goods, services, and information in an increasingly complex world where the logistics sector is more and more affected by rapid technological development and increasing demands from manufacturers, consumers, the surrounding society, as well as nature’s resources and limits.
