Sofia Ulver is an Associate Professor of Marketing, and researcher in consumer sociology and consumer culture theory at Lund University. She takes an interest in the relationship between people, society, and markets, and has previously explored market-mediated globalization of aesthetic taste and the foodie culture. In the last two years she has focused on the relationship between the market’s self-politicization, political polarization, counter-democratic consumer movements, and multiculturalism.
