Åke Persson is Associate Professor of English at University West. A graduate of Karlstad University and Trinity College, Dublin, he was awarded his PhD at the University of Gothenburg. His main research interest is within Anglo-Irish literature and Irish Studies broadly, and he is currently engaged in research on contemporary Irish fiction as well as film adaptations of literary texts.
