Sivan Bomze, MPH, is a doctoral student in sociology at Syracuse University. She has worked as a researcher for projects on social and health inequities; the right to health and social services; human rights as it relates to sexual orientation and gender identities; and social movements, social action, and social justice. She holds a degree in health policy from York University in Toronto, as well as an MPH in health promotion from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
