Pernille Hohnen is a Ph.D social anthropologist and senior Researcher working in the fi elds of Work, Welfare and Regulation at the Danish National Research Centre for the Working Environment. Her Research concerns welfare and citizenship as well as vulnerable groups both as receivers of welfare and as a marginal labor force. Her work on social vulnerability, consumption and citizenship is published in Sociological Review, the European Journal of Social Security and by Policy Press. In addition, her academic work consists of the book: A Market out of Place? Remaking Economic, Social and Symbolic Boundaries in Post-Communist Lithuania, published by Oxford University Press (2003).
