
Lise Skov

Lise Skov is associate professor of creative industries in the Department of Intercultural Communication and Management at Copenhagen Business School. A sociologist by training, she has done research on both the prodcution and consumption of fashion, in both Europe and Asia. She is the editor of the West Europe volume of Berg’s Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion (2010), of a themed issue of Current Sociology¸titled ‘Encounters in the Global Fashion Business’ (2006) and ‘Women, Media and Consumption in Japan’ (Curzon 1995). Her articles have been published in journals such as Th eory, Culture and Society, Cultural Studies, Fashion Th eory , Current Sociology and in several books.
