Lisa Forman, LLB, MA, SJD, is the Lupina Assistant Professor in global health and human rights at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and director of the Comparative Program on Health and Society at the Munk School of Global Affairs at Trinity College in the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on international human rights law relating to health, medicines, and trade. Lisa’s current research focuses on the contribution of international human rights law to global health inequities, focusing in particular on the interactions between international human rights law and trade law related to medicines. Lisa is qualified as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She holds a BA and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, a master’s degree in human rights studies from Columbia University, and a doctorate in juridical science from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law.
