Joonas Rokka is a doctoral candidate and researcher at Aalto University School of Economics, Department of Marketing and Management. His research interests include, in particular, consumer culture, new media, online communities, virtual worlds, environmental consumption, and branding and marketing practices. In addition, he is passionate about advancing cultural research methods such as netnography and videography. He has recently published in Advances in Consumer Research, International Journal of Consumer Studies, Management Decision, and he was awarded the “Juror’s Prize” for the best fi lm at the North American ACR 2009 in Pittsburgh.
