Anu Valtonen is professor in Marketing (acting) at University of Lapland, Finland. Her research interests relate to cultural consumer research, qualitative research methodologies, and leisure and tourism studies. Her recent publication includes ‘Qualitative Marketing Research: A Cultural Approach’ (2006), co-authored by Johanna Moisander. Her academic works have appeared in Consumption, Markets and Culture and Tourist Studies. She is a board member of the Finnish Association for Consumer Research.
