Yvonne Mørck has a Ph.D. in anthropology from University of Copenhagen. She is a associate professor at the Department of Society and Globalisation, Roskilde University, Denmark. She has written the book ’Bindestregsdanskere. Fortællinger om køn, generationer og etnicitet’(1998) and articles on topics such as the intersection of gender, ethnicity, age and sexuality, multicultural issues in especially the Nordic countries and multicultural challenges in upper-secondary schools in Copenhagen. She is currently head of a research project on violence against women in ethnic minority families which is funded by TrygFonden.
