Pirjo Laaksonen is professor of Marketing and dean of Faculty of Business Studies at the University of Vaasa. Laaksonen’s main research areas are consumption and consumer behavior, marketing of consumer goods and marketing communications. She has published extensively topics about involvement, for example a book in English and in Japanese.
