Liisa Uusitalo

Liisa Uusitalo is professor of marketing at the Aalto University School of Economics. Her research projects cover social aspects of marketing and consumption, such as consumer rationality, environmental behaviour, and cultural marketing. She has been visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, Science Center Berlin, Stanford University, Aarhus Business School, University of Bath, and the Institute for Advanced Study Berlin. She is member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. Her publications include more than 200 items including several books, monographs and articles in international books and journals such as Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Consumer Policy, Journal of Macromarketing, Advances in Consumer Research, Scandinavian Political Studies, International Journal of Consumer Studies, and Journal of Business Ethics. Recent edited books are Museum and Visual Art Markets 2008 and Cultural Competences – a New Requirement in Information Economy 2009 (in Finnish).
