Birgitte Tufte is professor at the Department of Marketing, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. Her research is focused on Children, Media and Consumption. Her publications have been published in various academic journals such as Journal of Consumer Marketing, Society and Business and International Journal of Advertising and Marketing to Children. Birgitte Tuft e has also authored a number of books, including: Children – Consumption, Advertising and Media. (CBS), CBS Press 2005), Children, Media and Market (Samfundslitteratur 2007) , Children, Media and Consumption – on the front edge (ed. together with Karin M. Ekström) (Nordicom 2007) and Children growing up with Media and Consumption (eds. Birgitte Tuft e, Berit Puggaard & Tina Gretlund). 2009. Samfundslitteratur. Birgitte Tuft e was responsible for the international conference Child and Teen Consumption Conference in April 2006 in Copenhagen. She is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Young – Nordic Journal of Youth Research.
